Family Reunion RSVP Process Roles

The family reunion RSVP process involves several roles.

The On Platform, Off Platform, and Pending Platform statuses apply in this process. The roles are defined as follows.

RSVP Submitter/Payer

  • Email address included in their profile

  • On Platform adult or senior family member

  • Submits an RSVP for their spouse, children, parents, grandparents, other family members, and non-family guests

RSVP Guest

  • Included in an RSVP group created by an On Platform RSVP Submitter/Payer

  • Can be an On Platform, Pending Platform, or Off Platform family member

  • Can be an Off Platform non-family guest

  • Can be a senior, adult, teen, child, or infant

On Platform (Family Member)

  • Email address included in their profile

  • Can log into the platform and submit their RSVP

  • May add On Platform, Off Platform, Pending, or non-family guest to their RSVP group

  • May include their spouse, children, parents, grandparents, other family members, and non-family guests in their RSVP response

  • May update RSVP responses for their RSVP group

  • Receives a confirmation notification when the initial RSVP is submitted and any subsequent updates to the RSVP are submitted

  • Receives a confirmation notification if any On Platform member of their RSVP group updates their RSVP

  • Is considered The Payer for their RSVP group for a reunion with fees

Off Platform (Is a family member who is an adult or senior with no email address in their profile or a teen, child, or infant)

  • No Email address is included in their profile

  • May be included in an On Platform member’s RSVP group

  • Does not receive notifications

Pending Platform (Adult or Senior family member)

  • Email address included in their profile

  • May be included in an On Platform member’s RSVP group

  • Can join the platform at any time, view their RSVP summary, and update their RSVP

  • Receives a confirmation notification when the initial RSVP is submitted and any subsequent updates to the RSVP are submitted by the RSVP Submitter/Payer

  • Receives a confirmation notification if the RSVP Submitter/Payer updates their RSVP

  • Is considered a guest of the RSVP Submitter/Payer and their reunion fees are included in the RSVP Submitter/Payer’s total amount due

Off Platform Non-Family Guest

  • Email is included in their profile for communications only. They are not invited to join the platform as a member

  • Receives a confirmation notification when the initial RSVP is submitted and any subsequent updates to the RSVP are submitted by the RSVP Submitter/Payer

  • Receives a confirmation notification if the RSVP Submitter/Payer updates their RSVP

  • Is considered a guest of the RSVP Submitter/Payer and their reunion fees are included in the RSVP Submitter/Payer’s total amount due
